Hi Knuknapper. Look up "Cronite Co." They are in NJ. They have all the supplies. I am using their "New Improved Steel Etch". The wax coating that gets painted on is also available from them, and called "Janes Ground". However I use a ground that Sheffield Knifemakers Supply sells. They sell the dry ingredients, and you mix it up. They recommend formaldahyde or ether as a base, but I found that common toulene works well. Just takes longer to dry. The acid and Janes Ground are both hazardous materials in shipping, and the charges are outrageous. I buy the acid from Cronite, but not the ground.
